This kind and gentle dog wash is the first UK-made organic shampoo for canines, and the first to be certified organic by the Soil Association (one of the leading organic accreditation organisations in the world).

Note:

The distinctive aroma of this product is due to the higher concentration of these ingredients. The chamomile has not been disguised by the addition of sweeter smelling essential oils or ingredients, less is definitely kinder. We do not wish to compromise the effectiveness of chamomile with aloe vera by adding fragrance (even natural) that is not necessary to soothe your dog.

To clean/treat small areas - wet the area using a sponge and warm water, then squeeze a pea-sized amount of dog wash onto the palm of your hand and dab it onto the area a little at a time. Gently massage the area, producing a lovely soft lather. You may need to add more product in the same manner, depending on the size of the area, the length of your dog’s coat and how much cleansing is required!

For a luxurious bath there are two different ways to give your dog a treat.

1. Wet your dog all over with warm (never hot) water, using either a sponge or a gentle shower. Squeeze a dollop of dog wash big enough to cover a 50p into the palm of your hand, then using your other hand dab small amounts of the wash all over your dog’s body. You may need to add more product in the same manner depending on the size of your dog, the length/thickness of its coat, and how dirty it is!

Now for the lovely bit – massage the dog wash into your dog’s coat taking care to avoid getting product or water in his/her eyes or ears. Use your fingers gently but firmly to work the lather through the coat and gently massage, taking your time so that both you and your best friend can enjoy the soothing and healing effect of the aloe vera and chamomile essential oils.

2. Fill a bucket with warm water, add approximately 20mls of dog wash and agitate gently to thoroughly mix. Use a sponge to apply the soapy water to your dog’s coat, then indulge both of you as described above.

Whichever method you use, rinse thoroughly with warm water, and dry your dog thoroughly with a soft towel. You should never leave your dog wet, so this stage is very important. Unless the weather is warm, use an appropriate coat to prevent your dog getting chilled.
