How to use:

Dog Shampoo’s:
To clean/treat small areas - wet the area using a sponge and warm water, then squeeze a pea-sized amount of dog wash onto the palm of your hand and dab it onto the area a little at a time. Gently massage the area, producing a lovely soft lather. You may need to add more product in the same manner, depending on the size of the area, the length of your dog’s coat and how much cleansing is required!

For a luxurious bath why not try the method used by professional dog groomers, it is the most economical way to use a shampoo?
1. Fill an empty, clean one litre bottle with warm water and add 15-20mls of The Conscious Pet Kind & Gentle Dog Wash, invert to mix. Wet your dog all over with warm (never hot) water, using either a sponge or a gentle shower. Squeeze the diluted product along the dog’s back starting at the base of the neck, working the shampoo through the coat. Gradually work along each side and underneath, down the legs etc until the shampoo has reached all areas. Now for the lovely bit – massage the dog wash into your dog’s coat taking care to avoid getting product or water in his/her eyes or ears. Use your fingers gently but firmly to work the lather through the coat and gently massage, taking your time so that both you and your best friend can enjoy the soothing and healing effect of the aloe vera and chamomile essential oils.
2. Rinse thoroughly with warm water, and dry your dog thoroughly with a soft towel. You should never leave your dog wet, so this stage is very important. Unless the weather is warm, use an appropriate coat to prevent your dog getting chilled.

Moisturise and Nourish Organic Paw Balm:
1. Ensure paws* are clean and dry
2. Relax your pet by having a cuddle/giving them their favourite toy/offering them a healthy treat
3. Spray directly onto the pads* and leave for a few moments to let it absorb into the skin. A gentle massage of the paw pad isn’t necessary, but your pet will love it!
4. Reward them by giving them a cuddle/giving them their favourite toy/offering them a healthy treat.

Recommended: If I am taking my dogs onto land that is not farmed organically, I make sure I have a little bottle of diluted shampoo (15mls in a litre of water) and another of pure water with me so that I can wash and rinse paws thoroughly immediately after the walk. After drying, I also apply the paw balm so that it can start to work its magic on the way home!

Tip: Using baby’s/children’s socks to cover the paws after application will prevent your dog licking off the balm (some love the taste!), and/or will help the softening process if the paws are very dry.
